Hello again!
It is day 2 at the house and all us girls were treated to a lie in this morning! Till 9:30! Helen and Vicki had already left for the shops at this point with Kate, and Lucy and Kirsty were cooking us eggy bread for breakfast! We sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed our breakfast (which also included cornflakes and bread and jam).
We then all sat outside for a while playing around on the hammock and sitting and enjoying the view. Some of us filmed a house tour which I am sure friends and family will enjoy watching when we get home!
When Helen and Vicki returned from the shops, we all walked up the hill to carry the food for them and once everything was unpacked, we sat and ate sandwiches for lunch. We also tried a new squash, which was raspberry flavoured. It tasted like liquid jelly (good for some, bad for others) and tasted much nicer as a milkshake.
After lunch, we buddied up and spent the next few hours prepping for school tomorrow. Lottie and I (Ellie) drew out 100 butterfly templates, decorated two as examples and made up a butterfly song! (Little) Vicky, Lucy, Catherine, Chante, Abbie and Frankie made 310 snake templates and coloured in 7! Eleana and Rachel made moose masks and Chloe and Laura made bear masks so now we are all ready for tomorrow. The leaders also cut up lots of tissue paper and aided elsewhere.
The sun set at 6pm again and the wind picked up so we are now prepping for dinner. We've also packed our rucksacks for tomorrow and we are sitting on the veranda eating sugar cane which Doc prepared for us.
** Doc would like to point out that he is a TRUCK DRIVER and not a bus driver. He was very insistent on this point! **
Some of the girls would like to inform those parents who have not commented, that you need to set up a Google account to comment on the blog!
Thank you for those who have commented already, everyone has loved reading the comments from their family and friends!
Lots of love,
The Impalas
*XOXO
P.S (Little) Vicky would like to say that she is feeling much better today!

Hello Impalas!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that you are having a good time in Malawi, BUT have you been in the pool yet? If not, why not?
I would also like to know if you have seen any Impalas or other interesting wildlife in the estate?
Have a great time ( and good luck ) teaching the children tomorrow. Can we have some pictures please? I will hopefully set up my own blog account, so I can write comments as myself.
Love to Ellie ( I'm not missing you yet ;) ) Love Faith Parker xoxoxox
Has anyone spotted a pygmy giraffe yet? ;)

Lucy H - just to let you know that your crazy niece did some suitably odd dancing at the Jessie j concert... I have video evidence.
