Less than 24 hours...

In under 24 hours, we will all be at the airport having departed from our parents and will be off on our adventures to the heart of Africa. I know I am a bit nervous, but have been reassured by everyone I know that I will love it and have so much fun once I am there and I know they are right. It is such an incredible experience that all of us are embarking on and we will never forget it. It is just so hard to believe that we are only a day away from going...!

We are all busy messaging each other on Facebook- comparing luggage weights and asking how many pairs of trousers people are bringing! It's a comfort to know that everyone is in the same boat and we are all going through the same thing in ensuring everything is packed and we all have the correct medication.

Most of us would have started taking our Malaria tablets by now as well, which is very exciting. I took mine with my breakfast this morning and so far, have not felt any ill effects because of it which is good! I was expecting to have a tummy ache immediately for some reason so this is good.

Back to preparing now then- until tomorrow...

  4. Hi Tor, Seems you all having a lovely time albeit affected by the weather. Guess you would be shopping for clothes for a change over there. Trying to find Primark???? Well yes we are looking after Monty. He is around here next wednesday night for dinner and then we are all having "Picnic basket maxi" next saturday. We will order for 4 then split yours between us. ( Am sure you will nort be envious). Monty is hoping, as am I that we can, during your trip get Skype connection so we can see your suntan, not. Can only imagine, through the words of other girls posts, what it must be like to have scores of children arrive and share brilliant experience with you all.. Josie and Bob round for dinner last night and SOMEHOW Josie and mum thought that it would be a lovely idea if they followed you over next year and did something similar for 2 weeks. Hope there is a shop near that sells hair mousse.
Anyhow darling, look forward to hearing from you and then seeing you again. Have a lovely time. Take care tor
